Dr. Matthew Ferrin

Dr. Matthew J. Ferrin is a compassionate and experienced pediatric dentist dedicated to helping children build lifelong healthy smiles. With a passion for early dental education, Dr. Ferrin believes that strong oral health is the foundation of overall wellness — especially during the crucial growing years.Dr. Ferrin completed his Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry at NYU Langone’s Metropolitan Pediatric Dental Program, one of the nation’s top hospital-based pediatric residencies.

During his training, he gained extensive experience treating children of all ages, including those with special healthcare needs, and mastered gentle approaches to behavior management and comprehensive dental care.He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry, where he developed his dedication to patient education, prevention, and minimally invasive care. Before that, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a Spanish Emphasis, reflecting his commitment to both science and connection — values that continue to guide his patient care today. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Ferrin has provided compassionate care to diverse families throughout California with the same warmth and personal attention he would give his own family. Known for his gentle chairside manner and his ability to make even the most anxious little patients feel at ease.

Dr. Ferrin strives to make every dental visit fun, educational, and stress-free. He is passionate about partnering with parents to create positive dental habits that last a lifetime.A proud member of the Thousand Oaks community, Dr. Ferrin lives locally with his wife and two sons. Outside the office, he enjoys family time, community service, and exploring the outdoors along the beautiful Ventura County coastline.
